A caravan in Hemsby has been set alight deliberately.

Police believe a derelict caravan on the Seabreeze Caravan Park on Newport Road was set on fire this afternoon.

Fire crews from Martham and Great Yarmouth were called to the park just before 1.30pm and used hose reel jets to put out the flames. They left the scene just after 2pm.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police confirmed they are now investigating suspected arson.

Anyone with information or who witnessed anything suspicious is asked to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
