Police, ambulance and three fire appliances responded after a call at 10.07am citing a grey Ford Fiesta in collision on the A12 Lowestoft bound carriageway, approaching Hopton.

A spokesman for the police said the driver was not seriously injured, but petrol was leaking from the car.

Two fire appliances from Great Yarmouth and one from Gorleston were deployed as a precaution, but just one from Yarmouth was needed to make the scene safe.

Police said a road closure was not required, and the vehicle is being recovered.
