Car fire in Worlingham believed to have been ‘caused deliberately’

Fire-fighters quickly dealt with a car blaze in Worlingham, which is believed to have been “caused deliberately.”

A crew from Lowestoft South station were called out following reports of a car fire in Sycamore Close, Worlingham, just before 1am this morning (Saturday).

A brigade spokesman said that on arrival at the scene the crew found a car ablaze and they quickly put out the flames, with the fire under control by 1.11am.

The spokesman said: “This is believed to have been caused deliberately.”
