The A47 near Swaffham has re-opened to traffic after a car fire caused delays to drivers this afternoon.
Two emergency crews from King's Lynn were called at 3.35pm to put out the blazing vehicle on the Swaffham bypass.
The road was temporarily closed, with traffic queuing westbound between the A1065 Castleacre Road junction and the Lynn Road junction.
At 4.20pm, a police spokesman said both carriageways have since re-opened.
And the at there was slow traffic and a partial blockage at Lynn Road in both directions in East Winch at the Church Lane junction because of a car fire and recovery work earlier.
