A bouncy castle, children’s games, grand balloon race and clown entertainment will be some of the attractions at a charity fun day this weekend.

The family event in aid of Cancer Research UK will be held at Fearns Field, Suffield Park, Cromer, on Saturday June 14 between 10am-4pm.

It has been organised by Lyndsey Frary, 24, from Brownshill, Cromer, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer aged 23.

She is now healthy again, following an operation, and the fun day will be held exactly a year after her diagnosis.

Miss Frary, who has one-year-old baby called Ellie-Rose, has been helped by her mother Mandy Shaw, from Hillside, Cromer.

This is the first time Miss Frary has organised a large-scale fundraising event and if it is successful she hopes to arrange more.
