Mila, a female pointer cross, was well cared for but has had to go to the RSPCA as her owner can no longer care for her.

She is thought to be around 10 years old and is described as “a lovely nice natured dog” who is well behaved and no trouble on walks.

The RSPCA says Mila “was a much loved dog” and are hoping to find her another owner to provide her with the stable home she has lost.

If you think you could give Mila the home she needs then please call the RSPCA East Norfolk rehoming line on 07867 972870.

There are a number of other animals who are also seeking homes this week.

Peartree is described as a chatty budgie who will need a large cage or aviary and plenty of company.

iCloud is a female semi-longhaired cat. She is described as friendly and affectionate and the RSPCA said she would be happiest in a quiet home. iCloud came into the rescue centre with seven other cats so there is potential for her to be rehomed with a friend.

Wifi is a male cat around eight years old. The RSPCA says that he had a few dental issues when he arrived but will be ready for a home in around a fortnight after he has fully recovered. He has previously lived with a large number of other cats so could happily settle in with others according to the RSPCA.

Mocha is a female cat around six years old. The RSPCA says she has been used to living in a quiet home and she likes to spend sunny days outside.

Mal is described as “a quiet gentle cat in need of someone to love him”. The RSPCA says he is no trouble and good with other cats.

Captain Morgan has previously lived with a number of other cats and dogs so he could settle into a home with other animals. The RSPCA says he will probably prefer to spend most of his time indoors but it would be nice if he could have the choice to go outside into a garden on sunny days.

Elf is a female cat only around nine months old and came to the RSPCA with kittens of her own. They have all now been rehomed and the RSPCA hope Elf will be chosen soon.

The RSPCA says Kevin is looking for an adult only home. He is described as a large cat aged around one to two years old. The centre says he would be best rehomed as the only cat.

The RSPCA says it’s looking to find Jackson an indoor home or one where he could have access to an enclosed garden. He’s described as “super affectionate” and apart from having FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) he’s fit and well.

All of the RSPCA’s cats and dogs are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, vet checked and on a flea and worm programme.

Adoption is subject to a successful home visit and there is a small adoption fee of £55 for cats and kittens and £25 for rabbits. This adoption fee helps the RSPCA to take in the next animal in need, this in no way covers the cost to the branch of making the animal ready for rehoming.

RSPCA East Norfolk is a locally funded branch and if you would like more information visit their website at www.rspcaeastnorfolk.co.uk.

Any kitten under 16 weeks that is rehomed from the branch will have a full cost neutering voucher to be used at the vets when they are 16 weeks old. To ask about an animal please call 07867 972870.
