The pitter patter of little feet will most certainly be heard at Norfolk’s biggest baby and toddler fair later this month.

Now in its third year, the Bump and Beyond Baby and Toddler Fair is set to be bigger than ever as it moves to its new home at the Norfolk Showground.

The Sunday, April 30 event will feature more than 100 exhibitors, activities, talks, demonstrations and free taster sessions that cover everything from pregnancy to pre-school.

Mark Raines, event organiser, said: “As a parent myself, I know how baffling it can all be.

“There are so many products, so much information, and plenty of advice out there, but knowing which to choose and who to listen to can be really tricky.

“The Bump and Beyond Fair brings lots of fantastic specialists together under one roof so parents, and parents-to-be, can get hands-on with what’s on offer and ask the experts their questions face to face.”

Highlights of the day will include a talk by the Norfolk County Council road safety team about choosing and fitting the right car seats, and a fun session run by Hartbeeps Norfolk, where youngsters can have a go at music-based activities.

The event has previously taken place at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich city centre.

Mr Raines said the fair had grown each year and organisers were looking forward to the their biggest event so far.

He said there would be plenty of facilities for families with toddlers and young children.

Mr Raines said: “We’re creating a really family-focussed event with a free soft play area for the kids, as well as the more practical consideration.

“There will be plenty of space for breastfeeding and nappy changing, seating for parents to recharge with a refreshment, loads of room for buggies and free on-site parking.

“It promises to be a great day out.”

The event will be raising money for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), supporting their nook appeal to raise funds for a new hospice.

Organisers has asked for donations for raffle prizes. Call 07531 120817 or email mark@mjr-events.co.uk for more information.
