Members of the Cromer Royal British Legion are appealing for photographs of soldiers killed in the First World War.

There are 88 names of men from the Cromer area who died in the 1914-1918 conflict on the town war memorial in front of the parish church.

The legion branch is missing pictures of 23 of the men named on the memorial.

They are Gilbert Spencer Balls; Francis Henry Baxter; Ernest William Baxter; Charles John Bumfrey; Andrew John Clarke; Herbert Richard Clarke; Arthur Harry Cook; Sidney Isaac Cook; John Leslie Fish; Anthony Harbord; William March Hardingham; Bertie Harvey; Charles George Hurrell; William Lake; Charles Wales Leggett; Hilary Cossey Nockels; Robert Gaff Painter; Ernest Savory; Sidney Robert Savory; George Thomas Christmas Stimpson; William Williamson; Herbert Wilson and Herbert Ernest Youell.

Anyone with information or a photograph of these men should call John Needham on 01263 510146 or Robin Lilley on 01263 510287.
