Busy weekend for East Anglian Air Ambulance with four call-outs in Suffolk

Four people were treated by the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) following a spate of call-outs in Suffolk this weekend.
The air ambulance was scrambled at 10.30am this morning (Sunday) after a woman in her nineties suffered a heart attack in Lowestoft. The lady was treated at the scene before she was taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston where, upon arrival, she was fully alert.
The air ambulance was also called out three times yesterday (Saturday), with the team aboard Anglia One landing at St Benedict’s Church in Lowestoft to treat a man in his sixties who had suffered a heart attack.
He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A man in his eighties was later airlifted to the NNUH following a heart attack in Walberswick, where he was treated at the scene by the team aboard Anglia Two.
And finally on Saturday, the air ambulance assisted the East of England Ambulance Service Trust in treating a patient who had suffered a medical incident in Bungay. The patient was taken to the NNUH in the care of a land ambulance crew.
