Burglars made off with a Kawasaki motorbike, mountain bikes, Panasonic and Samsung TVs and a blu-ray cinema system after targeting two garages in Thetford.
Police are looking for witnesses to the incidents, one of which saw the thieves disturbed by the garage owner before fleeing.
The first incident took place between 2am and 6am on Sunday in Blackthorn Close, when a garage was entered after bricks were removed in the top corner of the building.
The door was then opened from the inside, with the thieves snatching a green Kawasaki motocross bike, a black GT boys mountain bike, a red ladies Carrera bicycle, a Panasonic 42” smart LED television, a Samsung 40” Smart 3DTV and a Panasonic blu-ray home cinema system.
The second incident saw an attempt made to break into a garage in St Albans Way at some time between 2pm on Saturday and 2.30pm on Monday.
This time thieves cut off a padlock and attempted to force the top of the door, but could not gain entry.
They returned to the garage later on Monday, just after 10.30pm. The victim disturbed the thieves on this occasion after they forced the door open, but they fled empty-handed in the direction of Canterbury Way.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of either of these incidents is asked to contact PC Richard Bray at Thetford Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
