People are being urged to contact police immediately if they see suspicious activity in the area they live after two burglaries in one village.
Jewellery was stolen when a home in The Street in Coney Weston, south-east of Thetford, was broken into during daylight hours, between 8am and 6.15pm, on Wednesday, February 6.
During officers’ house-to-house enquiries in the area, it emerged that burglars had attempted to another house, also in The Street, at sometime between 1am and 5pm on the same day.
Witnesses have been spoken to and a small silver car with a man sitting inside was seen parked across the driveway of the first property at around 3.25pm.
Anyone with relevant information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Carl Dye at Bury St Edmunds CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
