Thousands of rail passengers travelling on the Norwich to London line this morning are facing major disruption following an earlier broken down train.

There are delays of up to one hour on Greater Anglia between Liverpool Street and Norwich, and between Liverpool Street and Ipswich due to earlier broken down train at Manningtree.

Services affected include the 5am Norwich to London Liverpool Street train which has been delayed for an hour because of the broken down train. Other services have been cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 10am.

Tickets being accepted on First Capital Connect, Underground services.
