Motorists on the A11 near to the Thickthorn roundabout experienced congestion earlier this afternoon because of a broken down fire engine.

Police were called after the broken down vehicle was causing problems for northbound traffic on the A11 in Cringleford at Thickthorn roundabout.

It was reported at 3.30pm but has since been recovered and all lanes have been re-opened.
