Drivers experienced delays on the A47 near Norwich this evening following problems caused by a broken down car near Thickthorn and a two vehicle crash at Postwick.

Rush hour traffic experienced problems at the Thickthorn junction after one lane of the west bound carriageway was shut as a result of the problem at about 5pm.

One driver said traffic was backed up all the way to the Trowse junction because of the broken down car.

Traffic was also delayed this evening by a crash between two vehicles on the Yarmouth-bound carriageway of the A47 near the Postwick roadworks.

No one was injured in the collision, which caused minor damage to the cars at 5.20pm.
