Broads village gears up for open gardens event this weekend

A Broads village will be hosting an open gardens event this weekend.
Twenty village gardens will be open in Burlingham on Sunday and there will be musical entertainment from Broadland Brass Band and Acle St Edmund Youth Orchestra.
The open gardens event will run from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to see gardens with ponds and orchards, the church of St Andrew’s and the ruined church of St Peter’s as well as alpacas and ferret racing.
There will be refreshments and cream teas, barbecue, raffle, and games on The Green, Burlingham.
Garden tickets and parking will be available at St Andrew’s Church, North Burlingham.
Entrance to gardens is £3 per person and children are free to enter. Proceeds will go to local village organisations.
