A teenage boy was hit in the jaw with what is believed to be an air gun pellet while cycling along Links Road in Gunton.

Police are appealing for information following the incident on Sunday between 6pm and 6.30pm.

A police spokesman said: “The victim, a teenage boy, was cycling along when he fell from his bike, and it was discovered later that he has been hit in the jaw with what is thought to be a pellet from an air weapon.”
