A 17-year-old boy was attacked and robbed of his bag as he was walking home in Lowestoft between 6.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday.
The teenager was in an alleyway that runs from Queens Road into Clarence Road when he was struck and knocked to the ground.
Moments later he realised his blue Adidas satchel-type bag, which contained cash, tobacco and personal items, was missing.
The victim was checked over by ambulance personnel but did not require any further medical treatment.

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.
