Ten-year-old boy on bike killed in lorry crash

A 10-year-old boy has died following a collision involving a lorry.

Emergency services were called at 8.36am today to reports of a crash in Weasenham Lane, Wisbech, involving a lorry and a boy riding a bike.

Police confirmed the boy died at the scene.

The road was closed in both directions following the incident and police confirmed it reopened just before 3pm.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact the Cambs Road Policing Unit on 101 quoting CC-16072018-0100.
