Thousands of people will be enjoying Bonfire Night celebrations - here is our guide to what's on and where.

NORWICH

• Friday 7th: One of the most spectacular displays is set to be the free Big Boom fireworks event in the city centre.

The Norwich City Council event made its debut last year and this year's display will take place at Norwich Castle at 7.30pm.

Council leader Brenda Arthur said: 'It's a great free event in the heart of the city so people don't have to spend lots of money.'

• Friday 7th: A fireworks display with light show will be held at the Rugby Club in Tuttles Lane, Wymondham, from 6.30pm.

• Saturday 8th: Other events will be held at Grange Farm in Buxton Road, Spixworth from 6pm-9.30pm and the South Walsham playing field, at 7.30pm.

WEST NORFOLK

• Friday 7th: Sees West Norfolk council's Fawkes in the Walks. The park is filled with funfair rides, refreshments and amusements before the big display.

Gates open 6pm, fire works around 8pm. Admission is free.

NORTH NORFOLK

• Friday 7th: Walcott Lighthouse Inn including First World War tribute, gates 5.30pm, displays 7.15pm and 8.15pm.

• Saturday 8th: Corpusty, village green from 6pm; Aylsham, Bure Valley School, from 5.30pm; Overstrand, Pauls Lane car park, bonfire 6.45pm, display 7.30pm.

MID NORFOLK

• Saturday 8th: Swanton Morley will host its annual Fireworks Spectacular at the Village Hall, near Dereham. Billed as 'probably the best village display in Norfolk', the fireworks will spark into action at 7pm. Gates open at 5pm.

GREAT YARMOUTH

• Saturday 8th: Reedham rounds off the displays at the village hall. The night starts at 6pm with fireworks from 7pm.

SUFFOLK

• Saturday 8th: Framlingham Fireworks Spectacular is being held in the town's Pageant Field from 6pm. Entry is £6 adults and £4 children.
