A man was found dead in his home on Monday evening, mere hours after police had visited his property.
Officers were called to a house on Station Road in Thetford on Monday night to find firefighters had forced entry to the address after concerns were raised to paramedics for the welfare of the resident.
The body of a man in his 20s was found inside and the death is currently been described as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
As the police had attended the address earlier and had previous contact the matter has been referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) as standard procedure.
