Thieves made off with two bird-scarers and gas cylinders worth up to £450 in separate incidents this week.
Police are looking for witnesses after the thefts in two fields in Larling.
The first took place between 6pm on Friday, February 21, and 8am on Sunday morning in a field off Illington Road. A bird-scarer and attached gas cylinder were stolen.
The second saw a Protec scarer and cylinder snatched, this time between 11am on Sunday and 7.30am the next day in another field in the village.
The items are valued between £350 and £450.
