March 5 2015 Latest news:

POLICE are trying to trace the owner of an old jewellery box discovered in a park in Gorleston earlier this year.

To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

So far their attempts to find the owner have been “fruitless” and officers have said it does not appear to have been reported lost or stolen.

They have now released a picture of the box, which contains some jewellery and items that may be of sentimental value, in a bid to find out who it belongs to.

If you are the owner of the box, or know who it belongs to, call DC Gillian Dawson on 101. You will be asked questions in order to identify it as yours.
