The Attleborough Writers’ Group unveiled their fourth anthology in four years on Saturday, which was launched by Look East chief reporter Kim Riley, who praised the imaginative and moving story-telling.

Fourth Write is dedicated to Enid Scoging, a former member of the writing group, who died earlier this year. The writing group was established following the conclusion of a creative writing course in Attleborough four years ago and has ten members, who write as a hobby.

Mr Riley said he enjoyed reading Fourth Write, which was “well written stuff.” “I admire people who deal in imagination and it is much more difficult to come up with a story that moves you,” he said.

A raffle at the book launch helped raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

Two hundred copies of the latest anthology have been printed and cost £4.99 and are available in shops in Attleborough and on Amazon. You can also email awgwriters@aol.com
