The BBC World War One At Home Live Event at The Forum in Norwich is family-friendly and includes hands-on activities, performances and interactive sessions designed to appeal to everyone.

Visitors will be able to make their own ID Permits, have a go at being a war reporter and meet experts from the Imperial War Museums to search their families’ connections to the war.

David Clayton, BBC Radio Norfolk’s editor, said: “Our aim is to give people a deeper insight into life on the Home Front 100 years ago, and to enable them to find out more about their own families’ involvement.”

The free seven-hour stage show is due to start at 9.45am.
