Barn collapse blocks road in Smallburgh

Rubble from a collapsing barn blocked a north Norfolk village road earlier this evening.

Police were called to Norwich Road, Smallburgh, at about 4.50pm and set up cones around the affected area.

A police spokesman said the caller’s husband had cleared the rubble which had come from a barn “rotting from within.” The road is now clear.
