Barbed wire fencing surrounding a field containing horses and cattle has been cut by vandals in north Norfolk.

Three strands of wire were cut at Long Lane, Heydon, and it is the seventh time the fencing has been targeted since June 2011.

On several occasions the horses and cattle have escaped on to the road.

Police in Reepham are appealing for information following the damage caused sometime on Monday, October 1.

● Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact PC Benson at Reepham Police Station on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
