School children from three Norfolk schools will be returning to classroom late because of overrun building work.

Dickleburgh Primary School will remain closed until Monday September 8 and there may be some temporary classroom arrangements.

King’s Lynn Nursery School will also open on Monday because of “major building works during the summer break”.

The carer and toddler group, held at the school each Friday, will start on Friday September 19.

And Sidestrand Hall School says incomplete building work means the site is unsafe for secondary pupils and will not open until Friday at the earliest.

Clement Lodge (the lower school) and Birch Class will be open as usual.

  • And because it's a public contract there will be no penalty clause applied to the contracter. By the way EDP why haven't you named the contractors so others don't make the mistake of employing them.......oh I forgot NCC only use the one contracter for school property services.
