Here’s her pick of her favourite in her vast collection.

Mrs Clipston’s first and favourite doll is a ballerina Sindy doll made in 1974-75.

She said: “I loved it because the legs clicked and the ankles bent to make her into a proper ballerina.”

In 1980 ballerina Sindy was changed to wear a pink tutu.

This doll with a black and white dress was a rare find for Mrs Clipston. She woke at 6am to bid for the lot on eBay.

She said: “When it came I was so pleased. It was like Christmas.”

This box is an original from the 1960s when doll boxes were made in the shape of a shoe box.

The pink doll on the left was designed by Princess Diana’s dress makers Emanuel. It is a 1985 high-society model.
