A garden show which attracted more than 3,000 people raised £1,840 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The fundraiser was held at Woodgate Nursery on Cawston Road, Aylsham.

Inspired by this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the Woodgate Nursery Garden Show showed off local companies’ gardening skills, with visitors voting for their favourite garden design.

This year’s winner was the Wind in the Willows garden which was designed by the Woodgate Nursery team.

In second place was Sue Bell Garden Designs of Little Melton for her Time for Tea modern garden.

Third place went to Mark Sapwell and his Woodland Walk.

Peter Purdy, nursery owner, said the raffle raised three times as much as last year’s show.
