A new village map of Burnham Market which has been designed by a well-known local artist.
The colourful map, which depicts the village and its history, was created by Andrew Ruffhead and was sponsored by The Hoste hotel.
It was installed last week near to the new shopping courtyard called Foundry Place. The developer of the retail site, Fleur Hill, commissioned the new map after they found Burnham Market to be lacking in tourist information.
Brendan Hopkins, owner of The Hoste, said: 'The Hoste hotels and spa were delighted to sponsor this charming interpretation of Burnham Market village by local artist, Andrew Ruffhead.
'A lot of thought was given to how much should be included such as roads, footpaths, churches, shops, delicatessens and hostelries. The map has been designed to help visitors find their way around and make the most of all there is to see in this beautiful, historic village.'
