Police in Mildenhall are appealing for information after a man was punched while on the side of the road.
The incident occurred at around 7pm on November 21.
A 35-year-old man received a lift into the town from a stranger and was dropped off outside the fire station in North Place.
The driver of a silver saloon car pulled over nearby and got out of his car. He punched the victim multiple times in what police have said could be a road rage incident.
The victim required stitches.
