Police are calling for the driver of a red vehicle that was involved in an accident with another car in King’s Lynn, but failed to stop, to come forward.

A black Seat Leon was travelling towards the Hardwick roundabout from the A17 when it was involved in a collision with a red hatchback vehicle at about noon today.

The red vehicle failed to stop following the collision and drove on towards the A47 Norwich-bound.

The woman driver of the Seat Leon received a minor injury as a result of the collision and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

One fire crew from King’s Lynn attended and the road was cleared by about 12.30pm.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with further information to come forward.
