Artwork on offer at Redwings Horse Sanctuary's annual art sale was inspired by survivors of a notorious farm.
The charity's Aylsham visitor centre will open its doors again to art enthusiasts and Redwings supporters who can browse and buy pieces from a wide collection of pre-loved and original artwork.
The money raised will go towards caring for the charity's rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.
In January 2008, Redwings helped to rescue almost 100 severely neglected horses, ponies and donkeys from atrocious conditions discovered at Spindle Farm, Amersham, in Buckinghamshire.
Fifty-eight Amersham survivors remain in Redwings' care 10 years on – either within the sanctuary or in loving Guardian homes.
And budding artists created pieces inspired by the survivors in commemoration of the rescue's 10th anniversary.
Generous artists and talented supporters donated beautiful pieces of original art including paintings and sketches of Gelderlander horse Zippy, spotty appaloosa pony Cookie, donkey Esther and grey pony Hersheys.
The art sale also includes framed works depicting traditional countryside scenes, animals, modern colourful pieces and famous landmarks, including Happisburgh Lighthouse. Prices range from £3 to £60.
Anne Galloway, Redwings' gifts in kind manager, said: 'We're delighted to be bringing back our annual art sale with a very special theme.
'Earlier this year we put out a call to all budding artists asking if they would create artwork inspired by our amazing Amersham survivors to celebrate the happy lives they now enjoy and we've been thrilled with the response.
'I hope as many people as possible will be able to support this year's art sale as every penny raised really will help us ensure we can give these gorgeous survivors the love and care they deserve.'
Redwings is still welcoming donations for the art sale. Donated pieces can be accepted up until Monday, May 14.
Money raised from the art sale will go towards the charity's Amersham 10 Fund to help care for the survivors for the next 10 years. It runs from Friday, May 25 to Monday, July 2. The visitor centre is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm, and entry is free.
