American family get out to play in the Gunthorpe snow

An American family were reminded of their snowy roots today as they played out in the snow in Gunthrope near Fakenham.

Hepzaba Veenstra, 38, moved to the area from Boston in September with her husband, and two children, Soren, 5, and Maebh, 2.

She said they are enjoying the weather as it reminds them of America.

Mrs Veenstra said: “We have been playing out in the snow and the children have been asking to play out again, it’s great fun.”
