Captain Steve Norris flew Anglia One to the location, landing nearby on the beach at 12.43pm.

Bystanders had used an automated external defibrillator device and successfully resuscitated the patient, and on arrival Dr Akos Soti and critical care paramedic Ben Caine stabilised him before he was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

His condition is described as life threatening.
