The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to help a man in his 70s after he suffered a fall at home.

Captain Steve Norris flew Anglia One to the scene in four minutes, landing in a nearby field just before 8am today.

The man was treated at the scene before being left him in the care of East of England Ambulance Service paramedics who took him to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

A spokesman described the man’s condition as stable.
