A young man suffered serious injuries in a single vehicle crash near Norwich.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called to the aid of the driver on the A1067 in Lenwade this evening.

Anglia One landed on scene just before 6pm and Dr Vicky Smith and critical care paramedic Ben Caine treated a man in his late teens for serious lower leg injuries.

The EAAA team escorted the patient to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.

One appliance from Sprowston fire station attended the collision on Norwich Road in Lenwade. Crews made the scene and vehicle safe.
