An air ambulance was called to Norwich this afternoon to help a man in his 40s.

East Anglian Air Ambulance medics were called to the incident at around 1.15pm.

The clinical team worked alongside their East of England Ambulance Service colleagues to treat the man before the patient was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in the land ambulance.

His condition is described as stable.
