The air ambulance was called to help a man who had fallen from a ladder today.

Anglia One flew to an address near Thorpe Wood, in Norwich, where the man aged in his 70s had sustained a head injury.

Paramedics were already at the scene with a land ambulance and rapid response car when the air ambulance arrived.

Captain Steve Norris landed Anglia One in a park nearby and the crew of Dr Pam Chrispin and critical care paramedic Rod Wells assisted at the scene and monitored the man.

He was then transferred to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, escorted by Dr Chrispin.
