Marine Parade Surgery in Lowestoft has been closed as a result of flood damage.
GPs and staff have temporarily relocated to the nearby Kirkley Mill Health Centre and are seeing patients there instead.
Patients can also attend Oulton Surgery in Meadow Road.
Katie Norton, the director of commissioning for the NHS England East Anglia area team, said: “The Marine Parade surgery in Lowestoft was severely flooded overnight, causing extensive damage.
“The GPs and staff have temporarily relocated to Kirkley Mill Health Centre nearby, and are seeing patients there instead. Patients can also attend Oulton Surgery.”
She added: “We can assure people that any patients requesting an emergency appointment will be seen within the same timescale as normal. Patients’ records will be available at Kirkley Mill, so patients can be secure in the knowledge that their care is unaffected.
“Insurance assessors are assessing the damage, but our main concern is to ensure that the high standards of care expected by the public are unaffected by these unfortunate events.”
“We are grateful to the patients and staff of both practices for their patience and support during this disruption.”
Patients can continue to use the Marine Parade Surgery telephone number - 01502 574072 - as the phone lines have been diverted to Oulton Surgery in the short term. They will be diverted to Kirkley Mill from Monday. The surgery website remains www.marineparadeandoultonsurgery.co.uk.
