HEALTH groups are calling on the men of Acle to speak up about the issues they face in a bid to set up a new community group - for males only.

MensCraft, an Aylsham based group which runs health and wellbeing courses, has teamed up with Age UK Norfolk to develop a Menshed - a movement that started in Australia.

The scheme works to improve men’s health and wellbeing by providing a community space where members can feel comfortable to discuss any issues they may have. It also provides a place where men can share common interests and activities.

Each Menshed is different - reflecting the interests, skills and needs of its members - and the mensfolk of Acle are now being invited to a meeting to discuss the possibility of establishing one in the village.

People are welcome along to offer their views, make suggestions and talk about the issues they face.

The meeting is on Wednesday, September 26 from 10am - noon at Herondale in Bridewell Lane. Organisers have said no obligations or commitment required - just “your curiosity and open mind”.

The meeting will last no more than two hours and light refreshments will be available.

To help organisers with planning please let them know you are coming by emailing info@tpaassociates.co.uk or calling 01493 750 716.
