Traffic on the A47 was delayed this morning as an abnormal load transporting wind turbine parts travelled through the county.

The vehicle travelled from a port in Great Yarmouth, along the A149 and the A47 before turning off towards its destination at Weston Longville.

  • Bringing with it an industrial blot on the landscape for this rural village This will be part of two 410 Foot (125m) tall wind turbines just some 500m from peoples homes This was oposed by the parish council and rejected by Broadland planning committee who were supported in this rejection by the local district and county councillors as well as the local MP what ever happened to local democracy in the face of the smell of money by big business??!
