A11 at Wymondham partially blocked after car fire on slip road

Emergency services were called to a car fire on the A11 at Wymondham this morning.

Police were called to the incident at around 11.15am today, where a Mitsubishi Estate had come to a standstill on the slip road and was emitting smoke.

Norfolk Fire Service said that the incident was caused by a mechanical fault.

The road remains partially blocked and First Norwich has advised bus passengers that there will be delays to their green line.
