Two people who were injured in a three-car crash that partially blocked the A47 at Hockering did not require hospital treatment.
Police were called to the collision between two Volkswagens and an Audi, which happened west-bound near the Mattishall Lane junction, at 1.55pm.
A police spokesman said one person suffered a bump on the head and another complained of whiplash.
A spokesman for the ambulance service, which arrived at the scene at 2.11pm, confirmed this information.
The service sent one rapid response vehicle, which was cleared to leave the scene at 2.19pm.
Police said the crash had blocked the road, and had advised drivers to approach the area with caution.
It was the latest in a series of accidents in the A47 in the Hockering area that have prompted wide-spread calls for government action to improve road safety.
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.

One Horse - the accident at Hockering last week that killed two people appeared to involved an Audi. So I see what you mean. Maybe some people use it as a race track. Anyway, I use small country lanes to get to work in my small car. If I had an accident, there would be no question on the outcome of my life.

D R: I see that you now speak of the A47 as 'inadequate'. I drove along it twice on Friday .. and it seems that was a day when the dangerous drivers were not out. Coming home there was a diversion caused, I think but not certain, by a collision on the road at Thorney Toll. I am sure someone will read this who can verify or not, but isn't that a stretch of road that was upgraded to dual carriageway ... Scaredy Cat: the road is not dangerous, it's the people who drive dangerously ..

Call me a scaredy cat and scaremongerer by all means but I'm actually considering using one of the many smaller roads to get to work in Norwich as this road seems so dangerous :(

Last week's accident near Acle involved a BMW. This one involved an Audi. Funny that you rarely hear of one involving Mondeo's, Skoda's or Kia's. But then you rarely see those cars tailgatingdriving as if they're shooting an episode of Top Gear. Hmmm.

That's in terrible bad taste . Whatever anyone thinks about band waggoning politicians the A47 is inadequate for the increased volume of commuter and cross country traffic The poster who disputed a recent comment I made, I hope you note the Audi. And the VWs come to that.

George Freeman must be gutted - hoping for a few more body bags to grab the front page again tomorrow.
