Police told drivers this lunch time to expect delays on the A148 at Fakenham after an accident between a Fiat and a Volvo.
A man had head injuries from the accident but they are not thought to be serious.
The road was blocked but has now been cleared.
Despite 12 schools in the area being closed (see panel) there were no other reported problems.
Dereham-based Konectbus said all services were running, but have warned passengers to expect delays of up to 20 minutes because vehicles are having to take extra care in the snow.
Steve Royal, operations manager for Konect, said: “All the buses left the depots but we have got some delays of up to 20 minutes.
“All our staff have got in, so thank you to them from us.”
