Milestones Jazz Club is due to host a concert by the UK funk jazz band, Resolution 88, on May 5.

Celebrating their fourth studio album, this is the band's first performance at the Lowestoft club.

Known for their use of the Fender Rhodes keyboard, Resolution 88 borrows from the modern London jazz scene and uses the influences from artists such as Herbie Hancock's Head Hunters.

The band's original compositions are coupled with energetic live performances.

Performing in Lowestoft is relatively rare for the group; the Milestones gig follows a show at Ronnie Scott's Club in London.

All Milestones gigs are held on the first Sunday of every month and take place at The Hatfield Hotel, Esplanade, Lowestoft, with the doors opening at 7pm, live music starts at 7.30pm.

Admission £14 / £7 (U25) on the door
