Expect comedy sketches and steam trains as a popular annual event gears up to return to a heritage railway. 

Classic Sitcom Weekend featuring Dad's Army Live will take place at Weybourne Station, along the North Norfolk Railway, from Saturday, May 4 to Monday, May 6 2024 over the bank holiday weekend.

Park at either Sheringham or Holt to board a steam-hauled train and then hop off at Weybourne to be at the heart of the action.

There will be live music, classic vehicles, vintage fashions and wartime capers inspired by the sitcoms that were filmed there.

Enjoy skits from ‘Allo ‘Allo and Hi-de-Hi on all three days, with the platoon from the Dad's Army Museum in Thetford there on Sunday and Monday.

They will also be bringing Corporal Jones’ much-loved butcher's van with them. 

Light refreshments will be available at Weybourne Station and event activities will run from around 10am to 4.30pm.
