An extra performance of a hit West End show coming to Norwich has been announced. 

Norwich Theatre Royal has added an extra matinee performance on January 16 for the Only Fools and Horses comedy musical which is coming to the city from January 13 to January 18.

Based on the hit sitcom featuring Del Boy, Rodney and the gang, tickets for the show went on sale today.

Written by University of East Anglia alumnus Paul Whitehouse and featuring musical contributions from Chas n Dave, the critically acclaimed musical is heading on tour following a four-year run in London.

Prepare to get reacquainted with Britain’s most lovable rogues and experience the classic comedy brought to life on stage through an ingenious script and 20 hilarious songs.

A spokeswoman from Norwich Theatre said: "Featuring cherished material from the TV series, the laughs, dodgy dealings and unforgettable moments to boot, join us as we take a trip back to 1989.

"Get reacquainted with Britain’s most loveable rogues and experience the classic comedy brought to life once again through an ingenious and hilarious original score; an idea so inexplicably pukka it surely proves the old adage that he who dares wins."
