A man in his 40s was found dead in his Great Yarmouth home on Christmas Day, a coroner's court has heard.
An inquest opened on Thursday into the death of 49-year-old Karoly Nagy, who was found unresponsive in his home.
During a short hearing, area coroner Samantha Goward confirmed Mr Nagy, who was born in Ukraine, died on December 25 last year.
The court heard Mr Nagy, a factory worker, was found at his flat in St Peter's Road in the town after concerns were raised about his welfare.
A provisional medical cause of his death was given as alcohol toxication.
Mrs Goward adjourned the hearing for a full inquest, which is due to be held at 2pm on June 3.
