A 90-year-old former upholsterer died after being admitted to hospital following a fall, an inquest heard.
Robert Joy passed away on April 4 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
An inquest opened on April 11 at Norfolk Coroners Court where area coroner Yvonne Blake confirmed the cause of death had been a consequence of a fall.
He was also suffering from pneumonia at the time.
Mr Joy was born in Camden in London and was married to Betty Joy. The couple lived on Beaumont Way in Lynn.
A member of staff at the hospital provided a formal identification statement for Mr Joy.
